It’s widely expected that Arsenal right-back Bacary Sgana will leave the Emirates this summer on the expiration of his contract. The Frenchman has been at the Emirates since 2007, and Arsene Wenger and the fans know they have a serious job on their hands to replace the excellent servant.

Here’s five players we reckon they could target:

5) Serge Aurier – Toulouse (Sky Sports)

The Ivorian 21-year-old is probably the favourite to join Arsenal this summer, after he recently expressed his interest in joining the long line of successful Frenchman at the north London giants.

“You cannot refuse Arsenal. You can ask any player if he would play for Arsenal and I think he would respond positively without hesitation.” Aurier said last week.

“It is certain that Arsenal is a dream.”

The young right-back is equally adept at centre-half, and prides himself on his strength and physical defensive style. When used at fullback though, he enjoys to bomb forward, although he will need to refine the more intricate parts of his game to succeed in the Premier League.
