Players that dive should be banned says Wenger
The Frenchman has called for the FA to clamp down on diving as he believes that it is ruining the integrity of the game and the worst offenders should be banned.
Chelsea in particular have come in for serious criticism for the problem in recent times and Wenger wants a panel of ex-professionals to have the ability to sanction players.
“I am against diving and we should punish it after the game. You want players to play with honesty and once they start to dive, it makes it difficult for the referee. Just naming the players who dive does not work. You have to suspend them,” the 65-year-old was quoted by the Sun.
