Bayern Munich lead chase for Arsenal target
Bayern Munich are willing to spend big, possibly as much as £33m, to beat the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona to the signing of Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.
According to German publication Bild, the Bundesliga champions are stepping up their interest in the talented Colombian winger, who was one of the stand-out performers in Serie A last season, as well as for his country at this summer’s World Cup.
Bayern have been keen to recruit new attacking midfield talent this summer, while Arsenal’s interest in the 26-year-old may have cooled after they signed Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona.
