Arsenal missed out on Liverpool winger
Arsenal passed up the chance to sign Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling earlier in his career, according to club legend and former academy boss Liam Brady.
The Metro reports that the Gunners were in for the England international whilst he was stil with previous club Queens Park Rangers, but Brady failed to push the move through shortly before he decided on a switch to Anfield in 2010.
“I think I could have got Raheem Sterling if I’d really gone for him,” Brady said. “But I didn’t go through with that one [in the end].”
