Arsenal are reportedly closing in on a loan deal for Chilean World Cup star Eduardo Vargas, the Daily Mirror reports.

Chilean publication La Tercera claim Vargas and his representatives will soon travel to London to complete the formalities of personal terms and a medical ahead of a season-long switch.
