Petr Cech announced himself as an Arsenal player by producing one of the best performances of his career in tonight’s scoreless draw against Liverpool in the Premier League.
The veteran goalkeeper made a major difference for his side with spectacular saves from Christian Benteke and Philippe Coutinho in the first half at the Emirates Stadium.

Cech reflected on his performance and admitted that it was the polar opposite to his Arsenal debut, when he made a couple of errors as the Gunners lost 2-0 at home to West Ham United.
“When you start with your first game at a new club and everything goes wrong you have to go back to work and bounce back,” Cech said, according to BBC Sport.
“This was one of those games where I was in the right place at the right time. It is hard to believe after all the chances in the game that it finished 0-0.”
The former Chelsea star shined throughout the 90 minutes in North London, making a whopping eight saves to prove why Arsene Wenger was right to recruit him for £10m this summer.
