Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger apparently sent his scouts to Lyon this weekend to take a closer look at highly-rated pair Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir, according to the Metro.

Wenger sent his top scout Brian McDermott to zero in on the young pair as their form this season has attracted some serious interest from a number of top European clubs.
Reports in France are claiming the former Reading and Leeds boss made a number of notes on the two, who were involved in Lyon’s 1-1 draw with Bordeaux on Sunday.
Despite main striker Olivier Giroud being in good form at The Emirates this term, Wenger is keen to add some more competition to his frontline, and has targeted the Ligue 1 top scorer Lacazette as the ideal man to take up the mantle.
Fekir is also enjoying a highly successful breakthrough campaign, and would add some considerable bulk to a midfield that has suffered through injury after injury this year.
