The Gunners have been keen to land the pre-teen recently, and have been in competition to do so with fellow top flight big hitters Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City, who had also all made offers to land his signature.
However, the youngster is a season ticket holder at the Kenilworth Road with his father, Juliano, has decided to stay relatively local by agreeing to join Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger has sanctioned the club to pay off the required £10,000 compensation to the Football League as he is eager to get one of English football’s brightest prospects on board at the club.
Chelsea are believed to have offered double what Arsenal had, but he wanted to stay close to his home in St Albans.
The Gunners are also making some major improvements to their Hale End academy and they see Patino as a key part of their future plans.
