Gunners told Premier League shot stopper will cost them £12 million.
Arsenal have been told that Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic will cost them at least £12 million, and the Gunners could push a move through before the transfer window closes.
The Daily Telegraph report that the Bosnia and Herzegovina international is not as unsellable as the Potters had previously led Arsenal to believe.
Indeed, Stoke are nervously waiting to decide whether to send young England goalkeeper Jack Butland out on loan this summer as they expect a bid from Arsenal before the September 2nd transfer window deadline.
The north London side made a bid for Begovic in January, but had their offer rejected, and it remains to be seen whether a further approach would be successful this summer.
