QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar wanted at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona have entered the race for QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar, according to Spanish daily Sport.
The Brazil international is set to leave the Hoops this summer after being unable to prevent the London outfit’s relegation last season, and is reportedly closing in on a move across the capital to join Arsenal.
Although the Gunners were thought to be in pole position to sign the 33-year-old, La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly set to enter to race for the former Inter Milan stopper, who is valued at just £1.8m by the Hoops, with the club desperate to get his £70,000-a-week wages off the books.
Cesar is fresh from helping the Selecao to win the Confederations Cup and this week spoke of his admiration for Barca and Brazil forward Neymar.
Arsenal are in need of a new goalkeeper this summer after a disappointing campaign for Polish international Wojciech Szczesny.
