Arsenal have reportedly held talks over a deal to sign Edinson Cavani and Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain.
Both Cavani and Rabiot have been heavily linked with moves to the Emirates this summer, and The Daily Mail reports approaches have been made by the Premier League to snare the duo in an incredible double deal.
According to Daily Express, PSG value Cavani at £45m, and it is understood to the Uruguayan is happy to leave the Parc de Princes after being played out of position by manager Laurent Blanc.
The report suggests a deal to bring Cavani to Arsenal could be extremely difficult to complete on deadline day due to the complexities that comes with a high-profile transfer.
PSG could be willing to allow the £25m-rated Rabiot to leave after being sent-off just 28 minutes into the club’s season opener.
Rabiot is considered to be one of the world’s most promising young midfielders, but has found it difficult for consistent first-team football with the star-studded PSG outfit.
