Arsenal are keen to complete a deal for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to reports.
The Polish international has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners this summer, and Inside Spanish Football [via Daily Express] reports Arsene Wenger is keen to complete a £21m deal for the 25-year-old by the weekend.
Krychowiak is expected to make a decision on his future in the coming days, with Arsenal keen to finalise a deal with the closure of the transfer window now less than a week away.
Wenger is believed to be keen to bolster his midfield, and Krychowiak would no doubt provide Francis Coquelin with plenty of competition for a place in the Arsenal starting XI.
Krychowiak has starred for Sevilla since joining the club from French side Reims in 2014 and has since made 32 La Liga appearances.
The defensive midfielder is also believed to have had interest from Manchester United, however, Arsenal seem to be in pole position to snare the player’s signature.
