Arsenal are set to make a bid for Marseille forward Michy Batshuayi in January, according to reports.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his attack after failing in his quest to sign a striker during the summer transfer window, and the L’Equipe [via Daily Express] reports Arsenal are keen to swoop on the 21-year-old.
Olivier Giroud remains the Gunners’ only out-and-out striker, with Theo Walcott also stepping into the role.
According to the report, Tottenham are also keen on signing the former Standard Liege man and will go head-to-head with the Gunners during the winter window.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is also keen on adding depth to his front third following the departures of Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Belgian international has scored 12 goals for Marseille since joining from Standard Liege in 2014 and made his international debut in March this year.
According to the report, Marseille value Batshuayi at £22m.
