Tottenham are closing in on a move for West Bromwich Albion star attacker Saido Berahino, according to reports.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bolster his attack ahead of the new season, and London Evening Standard reports the North London club will lodge a £15m bid for the striker this week.
The report suggests the Baggies value the England Under-21 international at £20m, and it remains to be seen if the club play hard ball with Spurs over its most prized asset.
Arsenal are also said to be interested in Berahino, however Pochettino is reportedly desperate to pair the 21-year-old next to Harry Kane this upcoming season.
According to London Evening Standard, Tottenham are also interested in luring Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie to the club.
Pochettino is understood to be keen to offload some of the club’s fringe players, with Roberto Soldado, Emmanuel Adebayor, Vlad Chiriches, Aaron Lennon, Andros Townsend and Federico Fazio all on the chopping block.
