Arsenal are reportedly ready to complete a deal to bring Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak to the Emirates.
The Polish international has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, and The Independent [via Metro] reports the Gunners are now ready to activate the player’s £21.2m release clause.
Krychowiak is expected to make a decision on his future in the coming days, with Arsenal keen to finalise a deal with the closure of the transfer window now less than a week away.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his midfield, and the 25-year-old would provide Francis Coquelin with plenty of competition for a starting spot.
The defensive midfielder is also believed to have had interest from Manchester United, however, it seems Arsenal are in pole position to land player’s signature.
Krychowiak has starred for Sevilla since joining the club from Reims in 2014, making 32 La Liga appearances.
