Arsenal shot-stopper Wojciech Szczesny will move to Roma on a season-long loan after the two clubs agreed a deal, according to reports.
Following the arrival of Chelsea star Petr Cech, the Polish international has been linked with a move away from the Gunners and The Guardian reports the 25-year-old will move to the Stadio Olimpico next season.
Roma have reached a deal to bring Szczesny to the club on a one-year loan deal with a view to buying the goalkeeper next summer for a £3.5m fee.
It seems Arsene Wenger has run out of patience with the former Legia Warsaw man after a series of disciplinary issues last season.
The arrival of Cech means Szczesny is now surplus to requirements at the Emirates, and its now appears that his Arsenal career is all but over.
Szczesny arrived at Arsenal in 2006 and has featured in 128 Premier League matches for the North London club.
