Newly reappointed Inter manager Roberto Mancini is keen to sign Podolski on-loan from the Emirates Stadium until the end of the season as the German continues to struggle for first team football under Arsene Wenger.
The 29-year-old does currently earn £100,000-a-week with the Gunners though and is therefore in no rush to leave the club, but would welcome more game time.
Wenger has not spoken to Podolski about his future though, even as the interest from San Siro becomes more and more clear and it’s unknown what the next decision from the Frenchman will be.
Mancini remains confident of completing a deal for the forward though.
