Walcott missed out on the club’s victorious run in the FA Cup last season, picking up a serious ligament injury in the third round win over rivals Tottenham Hotspur, but he has indicated that he and his current teammates want to win more trophies and go down as legends in the North London club’s history:
“It’s important to have a good start, especially against Hull. We have our home support and we have to bounce back from the Southampton game.”
“We want to become those legends [in Arsenal’s history] so we need to knuckle down and start performing.”
