Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has been left furious by manager Arsene Wenger’s decision to leave him out of the Gunners starting line up for Sunday’s Premier League victory over Stoke City, according to reports from the Mirror.

The Polish international has been in the headlines recently after he was caught smoking in the showers following the defeat to Southampton, leading to a huge £20,000 fine, but he had been expecting to regain his place in the team for the game against the Potters.
Colombian international David Ospina stayed in goal for a second successive clean sheet, however, and Szczesny now faces a tough fight to regain his place in Wenger’s plans.
