Arsenal’s Lukas Podolski praises international colleague.Arsenal and Germany forward Lukas Podolski has paid tribute to his international team-mate Miroslav Klose after his history-making strike in yesterday’s World Cup game against Ghana.
The 29-year-old, who is also part of his national side’s squad for this summer’s tournament in Brazil, took to Twitter to congratulate his team-mate for the achievement of equalling the tally of Brazilian legend Ronaldo of 15 goals in the World Cup – the all-time record.
Both Podolski and Klose have been long-serving members for the German national side, and the Arsenal man hailed his fellow striker’s latest goal as ‘fantastic’, posting a photo of the two together.
His tweet read:

Klose’s late equaliser saved his side from a shock defeat to Ghana, who had led 2-1 in an enthralling contest.
