Arsenal transfer news
David Ornstein of BBC Sport has confirmed that the Gunners want to send the player away on a temporary basis to help him improve his performances and find some confidence.
The 21-year-old is a highly rated prospect but has only one goal in 19 senior appearances for Arsenal and has struggled to convince at the top level.
It is now hoped that Sanogo can get playing time elsewhere in the Premier League to help fine-tune his game, with too much competition currently ahead of him at the Emirates Stadium.
