The French international does not believe a win against the Blues this afternoon will make a great deal of difference to how the season will pan out in that respect, though he insists the Gunners must focus on finishing as high as possible as well as winning their FA Cup final clash against Aston Villa at the end of May.
Chelsea visit the Emirates Stadium today with a ten point lead over their hosts, and it would certainly take an unrealistically catastrophic collapse for them to allow Arsenal back into the race in the final few games of the season.
Speaking to The Sun about the prospect of Arsenal making a late challenge for the title, Koscielny said:
“We are focused on us. We don’t talk about the title. It’s finished.
“After we will see, for me the title is finished but we are professionals and we want to finish in a high position and we have the final of the FA Cup so we can finish the season well.”
