Arsenal shot-stopper David Ospina is set to begin talks with Real Madrid over a possible transfer, according to reports.
Ospina is believed to be surplus to requirements at the Emirates following the arrival of Chelsea star Petr Cech, and Metro [via Squawka] reports the Colombian is being eyed by Real Madrid.
Everton are understood to have made a £5m bid for the 26-year-old, however the reports suggest the La Liga giants are keen to sign the former Nice man.
Long-time Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas has joined Portuguese side FC Porto, and it is believed the club are still keen to bring in David de Gea during the summer window.
Real Madrid are not keen on paying Manchester United’s £35m asking price for the 24-year-old due to the fact he is in the final year of his deal at Old Trafford.
Keylor Navas still remains on the books at the Bernabeu and could battle Ospina to become first choice at the club should De Gea stay at United for another season.
