Here is how we think Arsenal will line up against Swansea on Sunday:
GK) Wojciech Szczesny
Arsenal’s No.1, and with David Ospina injured the Pole is sure to start between the sticks.
RB) Calum Chambers
Chambers has looked good going forward at right-back, but has been caught out a number of times defensively. Might be more comfortable at centre-back but that would leave young Hector Bellerin as the only option on the right.
CB) Per Mertesacker
Despite a terrible performance against Anderlecht in midweek Mertesacker is sure to start. As the Arsenal captain while Mikel Arteta is injured he needs to take more responsibility and keep the team defensively solid.
CB) Nacho Monreal
An equally poor performance in the Champions League, really looks very uncomfortable in the centre of defence at times. Still likely to retain his place however.
LB) Kieran Gibbs
The 25-year-old has been the only truly reliable Arsenal defender in recent weeks, and staying injury free is vital for him at the moment.
