Arsenal forward Joel Campbell has admitted that he is “honoured” to have been linked with a move to Real Sociedad.
David Moyes is expected to exploit the English market in his first summer window as La Real boss and is believed to have turned to Campbell after missing out on Danny Ings to Liverpool.
The Costa Rican has not made a Premier League start since joining the Gunners in 2011, but has impressed at international level and in a loan spell at Olympiacos.

He spent the second half of last season in Spain with Villarreal and has now hinted that he would be interested in a return to Spain with Sociedad.
“It’s something that is not in my hands,” Campbell is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. “But in the club to which I belong.
“It’s always an honour when such an important club such as Real Sociedad values you.”
Campbell scored one goal in 16 games for Villarreal and is yet to find the net for Arsenal in competitive action.
