The news comes after Arsene Wenger revealed Inter had increased their offer for the World Cup winner following the Gunners 2-0 defeat by Southampton on News Years Day.
The Serie A club had earlier submitted a bid for Podolski that Wenger publicly ridiculed but it would seem both clubs have now agreed on suitable terms and Podolski will be granted his desired move away from the Emirates.
The striker has become frustrated at a lack of game time over the last 18 months and has been granted no starts in the Premier League as yet this season.
If confirmed the move surely signals the end of the German international’s tepid two and a half seasons in North London.
