Arsene Wenger could be set for a huge blow, with L’Equipe journalist Bruno Constant reporting that Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has sustained a broken foot that will rule him out of action for three months.

Giroud sustained the injury during the closing stages of the Gunners’ 2-2 draw at Everton at the weekend, a game in which the former Montpellier man’s performance was integral to his side’s stunning comeback – with Giroud heading home the equalising goal for his side.
The news will come as a huge blow to Arsene Wenger, who will be without Giroud for this week’s crucial Champions League qualifier against Besiktas and may have to play one of inexperienced duo Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell in attack.
