Nicklas Bendtner wanted by FC Twente.
FC Twente are the latest club to show an interest in Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner but the striker’s hefty wage demands are again proving an issue, reports Dutch source elfvoetbal.nl.
The Denmark international is free to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer and has been linked with moves to La Liga outfit Malaga, and a number of German clubs including Borussia Monchengladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt.
But the 25-year-old’s wage demands, believed to be around €2m per season, have so far proved too steep for any suitors and Twente are also unwilling to meet Bendtner’s expectations.
Arsenal are not willing to consider another loan deal for the forward, who spent last season at Juventus but failed to find the net in a dismal campaign for the Scudetto winners.
Bendtner has also spent time on loan at Birmingham City and Sunderland under Steve Bruce and the now Hull City has been linked with a move for the Dane.
