Arsenal are set to be left disappointed in their pursuit of Roma defensive starlet Alessio Romagnoli.
According to reports in Italy, the Giallorossi are on the verge of securing a deal for Man City striker Edin Dzeko.
In addition, they are awaiting the green light to confirm their move for Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah, and given the outlay that the duo will cost them, they will need to raise funds, as reported by Football Italia.

Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has made no secret of his desire to sign Romagnoli this summer after working with him during their time together at Sampdoria last season.
Further, the talented youngster has also reportedly told Roma that he wants to join Milan and will continue to hold out until the two clubs reach an agreement over a fee.
Milan are currently €2m short of the capital club’s valuation of the defender, but it remains to be seen if the situation changes with Rudi Garcia wanting to sign the Premier League duo and needing to balance the books.
With Roma loosening their grip on the defender, it spells trouble for Arsenal who will have to look elsewhere after reports in England claimed that they had been closely monitoring the 20-year-old.
