Arsenal look to have missed out on the signing of midfielder Julian Draxler who looks set for a switch to Wolfsburg.
The Gunners had reportedly been monitoring the German international for some time, despite the fact that boss Arsene Wenger arguably could be better served looking to strengthen his squad elsewhere.

Nevertheless, the rumours have persisted, but now they will finally stop as Draxler will complete his move to Wolfsburg.
Juventus had also been interested in signing the talented youngster, but it appears as though the 21-year-old has opted to remain in his homeland and will now hope to continue his development under Dieter Hecking.
Meanwhile, the Turin giants are reportedly now looking to tie up a deal for Inter midfielder Hernanes, while it remains to be seen where Arsenal go from here.
Wenger has been linked with a number of strikers around Europe during the transfer window, but with just over 24 hours remaining, it doesn’t appear as though he is any closer to finalising a deal.
