David Ospina has had an injury plagued time in English football so far.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed reserve goalkeeper David Ospina to get his Gunners career back on track following his appearance in this evening’s FA Cup third round tie against Hull City, report the Mail, with the Frenchman also feeling that Ospina has suffered due to his exploits with Colombia at the summer World Cup.

Ospina was one of the stand out performers in the Colombian side that won so many hearts for their enterprising performances in Brazil, before he sealed a move from Ligue 1 side Nice to the Emirates Stadium, and Wenger believes that he has suffered from such a sustained run of football:
“When I speak about post-World Cup trauma, he is a big example, because he got injured during the World Cup and came back injured.”
“Because he came to a new club, he wanted to get back fit as quickly as possible and got injured again.”
Ospina had made only one start for his new club, in the League Cup defeat to Southampton, before replacing Wojciech Szczesny for the cup tie against Steve Bruce’s side.
