Auxerre winger Ntep would be open to a move to the Gunners.
There is much excitement surrounding Auxerre starlet Paul-Georges Ntep, with Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur interested in the winger, according to the Daily Express.
However, it is the Gunners that excites the Frenchman and the 21-year-old has admitted that a move to north London would be an appealing prospect.
“Arsenal is a club that appeals to any player,” Ntep told L’Equipe.
“This is a club that relies on young people. After that, it’s always the same question – it depends on the project. Arsenal, yes, but to do what?
“If this is a club where I am going to sit on the bench, then where is the progression?
“I’m not saying I want to go to a big club to start immediately but at least that can happen in the medium term.”
Arsene Wenger has a reputation of acquiring French talent and nurturing them into world-class stars and Ntep already knows current player at the Emirates Stadium, Yaya Sanogo, from international football.
The pair play for the France under-20 side together, with the duo being part of the squad that won the World Cup this summer.
Ntep has played 12 matches for Ligue 2 side Auxerre in all competitions this term, scoring five goals and greatly impressing.
The winger is a product of the club’s youth academy and broke into the first team in the summer of 2011, having made 52 appearances since then.
