The Potters aim to complete sensational deal for Barcelona outcast Bojan.
Barcelona’s 23-year old forward and Arsenal target Bojan Krkic could be set for a shock move to Stoke City this summer as he looks to resurrect his faltering career.
Bojan has been a forgotten man at the Nou Camp ever since he was sent out on-loan a few seasons back and a move away from the Catalan giants could be on the cards for the talented youngster.
The once capped Spanish international has not played for Barcelona in three years now and has been on loan spells at Ajax and AC Milan for the last couple of seasons.
The Potteries’ manager Mark Hughes has reportedly held talks with the young forward and he looks set to bring him to the Britannia Stadium by beating the Gunners to his signature.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was said to be making enquires about the forward a few weeks ago, but the Frenchman could well lose one his long term targets if he does not act urgently.
Stoke City meanwhile feel that they have all but sealed the signing already with Chief Peter Coates quoted in the Daily Star saying; “Mark has met with the player and we’re quietly confident of getting it all completed soon.”
