Central striker – Diego Costa
Everything happed a bit too quick for Costa. He was rushed back from injury and, with only two senior Spain caps under his belt, was thrown in at the deep end.
He failed to impress during two World Cup outings, but you have to be a bit special to score 36 club goals in one season.
If Chelsea finally manage to sign him from Atletico Madrid, the Blues should be clear title favourites next term.
