Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin believes he should be allowed to leave the club for Tottenham Hotspur due to a ‘verbal agreement’ with his current employers, according to the Daily Mail.
The 24-year-old is one of many Saints players to be targeted by bigger clubs this summer, with some of their star names already making the exit from the St Mary’s Stadium earlier in the transfer window.
Schneiderlin now feels he should be allowed a move as well, and is desperate to link up with his old manager Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane, with the Argentine coach also leaving Southampton at the end of last season.
The French international has also been linked with Arsenal at points this summer.
