Arsenal are monitoring Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas as the club waits to make a formal move for Petr Cech, according to reports.

The Gunners have their sights set on the Chelsea shot-stopper, but Jose Mourinho has vowed to stop Cech from joining the Blues’ London rivals.
With David de Gea closing in on a move to Real Madrid, Casillas is likely to become available to Arsenal and a number of other interested clubs.
According to the London Evening Standard, the situation has become even more complicated with the Red Devils reportedly set to make a play for Cech should De Gea join Real Madrid.
Cech remains Arsenal’s first choice in the upcoming transfer window, but it is understood Arsene Wenger could make a move for Casillas if Cech either remains at Chelsea or chooses to join United.
The Czech Republic international is frustrated after dropping behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and is looking for first-team football elsewhere, but is believed to be reluctant to leave London.
