He may already have secured the signings of Alexis Sanchez, David Ospina, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy this summer, but it appears that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is far from finished in the transfer market, with rumours continuing to link the Frenchman with a number of new additions to further bolster his squad.
A centre back, defensive midfielder and attacking midfielder are all believed to be of interest to Wenger as he approaches the opening game of the Premier League season against Crystal Palace with these four high on his agenda.
Daniel Agger (Liverpool)
Wenger is one the hunt for a new centre back having sold club captain Thomas Vermaelen to Barcelona for £15m, with Liverpool’s want-away defender Daniel Agger emerging as a genuine option for the Gunners.
The Dane is also interesting former club Brondby, but is keen to leave Liverpool in search of more opportunities – potentially to Arsenal in a £12m deal.
