The Gunners are likely to face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Manchester City if Pogba does become available, however, with the report suggesting that an improvement in the club’s Financial Fair Play positioning could allow a marquee signing such as Pogba to be brought to the Etihad Stadium.
A powerful yet elegant central midfield player, Pogba has developed into one of the world’s finest young players since moving from Old Trafford to Juventus – which is why the Serie A champions value him at a cool £40 million.
