Gunners set to make audacious move for Paul Pogba.
Arsenal are set to abandon their lengthy transfer pursuit of experienced Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira in favour of bringing precocious youngster Paul Pogba to the Emirates Stadium, report the Daily Star, despite the fact that the German international would be a much cheaper option for the club.

Khedira has been believed to be a long term target of Arsenal due to the fact that he is somewhat out-of-favour under Carlo Ancelotti at the Bernabeu and looks unlikely to extend his contract beyond the end of the season, meaning that he could be available at a knock-down price in January.
Chelsea have also been mentioned as potential suitors for Khedira, however, with Arsenal now having decided to cast their eyes elsewhere – in the direction of £40 million rated former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who is pulling up trees in Serie A with Juventus.
