Wenger close to sealing Remy transfer after agreeing deal to sign Sanchez.
The last few days in the transfer window are turning out to be a dream for Arsenal fans as their boss Arsene Wenger has moved swiftly and decisively in the market to have deals in place for Newcastle right-back Mathieu Debuchy and Barcelona ace Alexis Sanchez.
The Mirror reports that Wenger has more news to cheer up the fans of the club as he closes in on another striker signing.
The Frenchman is reportedly in advanced talks with QPR over signing his long term target and compatriot Loic Remy for £8 million pounds.
Personal terms are not yet agreed, but with Remy keen on a switch to further his national team ambitions by playing in the Champions League, Wenger has every chance of sealing the deal within the next few weeks.
Should the Gunners manage to land the 27-year old, they would have potentially landed two proven pedigreed forwards to support Frenchman Olivier Giroud in Sanchez and Remy, which would then catapult them into being genuine title contenders for next season.
In what could be even better news for Arsenal fans, Wenger is also plotting a move for highly rated German enforcer Lars Bender to plug the holes in his midfield that has been lacking a bit of steel over the last couple of seasons.
