Gunners want Juve’s Llorente.
Arsenal are interested in a January loan move for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente, according to Inside Futbol.
The Spanish striker arrived in Turin on a free transfer from Athletic Bilbao in the summer but has started just two of the Old Lady’s seven Serie A matches, with fellow new boy Carlos Tevez favoured up front.
Llorente has admitted he is puzzled by his poor start to life in Turin but his agent has insisted the striker is happy to fight for his place with the Scudetto winners.
But Arsenal, who have tracked Llorente for some time, are ready to offer the powerful an escape route in the New Year.
Boss Arsene Wenger is keen to add more firepower to his impressive squad, after missing out on a host of strikers over the summer.
Llorente, 28, could be available on loan in January and Wenger is now ready to swoop.
