Arsenal are set to make a “huge offer” for Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move to the Gunners over recent months, but it seemed interest had cooled over the past few weeks.
According to Metro [via RevierSport] however, Arsenal will tempt the Bundesliga giants into selling the Gabon international with a mega bid.
The report suggests Dortmund will not consider selling the player for any less than £31.4m after allowing fellow attacker Ciro Immobile to leave the club and join La Liga heavyweights Sevilla.
Aubameyang was a shining light in what was otherwise a poor season for Dortmund, hitting the back of the net 20 times in all competitions.
The 26-year-old has most recently played as a striker after joining the club as primarily a winger, and with Arsene Wenger looking to bolster his forward stocks, Aubameyang would be a massive signing for the North London club.
Arsenal have sold Lukas Podolski to Galatasaray, while Yaya Sanogo looks likely to go on loan with Dutch giants Ajax.
