The 21 year old has been the subject of much speculation in the January transfer window and came to interest of Arsene Wenger who is said to be on the lookout for a long term replacement for the Gunners veteran captain Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal’s need now may not be so pressing with the emergence of Francis Coquelin since he was recalled from a loan and the signing of 17 year old Krystian Bielik but he could prove a big miss for the North London side if he lives up to his potential.
Caught Offside report that he will become Real’s second signing of the summer after Carlo Ancelotti’s side captured 16 year old Martin Odegaard; the teenage, Norwegian prodigy.
Though no move has been confirmed AS reports that the player has already passed his medical whilst his father confirmed to the paper that fresh talks had been made between the La Liga giants and Silva’s agent.
“Luiz Rocha called me today and told me that negotiations with Real Madrid are back under way, but he didn’t give me any more details,” he said.
