The Frenchman is confident of a good performance against the Premier League champions.
After a great start to the Premier League season Arsenal were brought back down to earth on Saturday with a 5-1 humbling by Liverpool at Anfield.
The Gunners were 4-0 down within 20 minutes and were totally outclassed by a Reds side brimming with confidence.
The match was the first of a difficult run-in for the north London side, which continues in the league with a potentially difficult tie with Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.
Although the Red Devils have been below par this season they are still the reigning English champions and will be looking to put their own disappointing result from the weekend behind them as well – a 2-2 draw with bottom placed Fulham at Old Trafford.
United did beat Arsene Wenger’s men in the return fixture earlier in the campaign, but the manager says his side will respond in this game.
Wenger: “We will respond tomorrow in a very positive way, I’m convinced of that. We know our form at the Emirates will be decisive”#AFCvMUFC
