Newcastle United have told Arsenal that they want at least a £30 million transfer fee for midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
Arsenal have made a bid of £10 million for Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye, but that is well below the Magpies’ valuation of the player.
According to Lee Ryder, north east newspaper The Chronicle’s chief sports writer, Newcastle value Cabaye at three times that figure – £30 million.

More deep lying playmaker than the defensive midfielder Arsenal require, a move for Cabaye is thought to be due to the injury suffered by Mikel Arteta.
However, Arsenal are unlikely to want to pay triple their estimation of the player’s value, and so this deal may already be dead in the water.
