Three Premier League clubs are believed to be weighing up a move for Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna.
Juventus centre back Angelo Ogbonna appears to be a man in demand, with the Daily Express reporting that Premier League trio Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are all hoping to snap up the powerful defender.
Ogbonna began his career at Juventus’ city rivals Torino, going on to make 150 appearances for the club across the top two divisions of Italian football.
His performances persuaded Juventus to bring him across the city last summer, but Ogbonna has struggled to impose himself on a side already fairly comfortable defensively both in terms of personnel and shape.
The report suggests that Ogbonna could be looking to leave Juventus in the summer due to a lack of first team opportunities under Antonio Conte, whilst all three clubs in question are believed to be in the market for a new defender.
The Gunners are on the lookout for cover to first choice pairing Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker, but Ogbonna is unlikely to want to move from a back-up role at Juventus merely to take up a different one elsewhere.
This makes a move to either White Hart Lane or Old Trafford more likely, with both clubs expected to bring in at least one first choice centre back in this transfer window.
