Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze is keen on a move to Arsenal, according to reports.
Gotze’s relationship with Bayern boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly soured over recent months, and Goal [via Metro] reports the 23-year-old is wants out of the Allianz Arena and is desparate for a move to North London.
The attacking midfielder would no doubt be a massive signing for Arsenal and would immediately help push the side into contention for the Premier League title.
Reports suggests Gotze could become available for £49.6m, however, the Gunners face stiff competition for the youngster’s signature.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is also understood to be keen on luring Gotze to the Premier League and the Germany star would be a massive addition to either side.
Gotze has played 60 Bundesliga matches for Bayern Munich since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2013 and scored the winning goal for Germany in the 2014 FIFA World Cup final.
