Arsenal boss hails French striker ahead of the summer transfer window with Emirates Stadium set to play host to crucial Premier League clash soon.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted his admiration for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, who has shone on loan at Newcastle United this season.
The French striker has scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 24 Premier League appearances for the Magpies this term, and is sure to have plenty of suitors this summer.
The Northern Echo claim that the Gunners will be at the front of the queue, and offer the following quotes from Wenger:
“He (Remy) is a good striker,” said the wily French boss.
“But at the moment we are focused on the end of the season, not on transfers.”
QPR’s financial issues means they may struggle to retain Remy, though that might change if they achieve promotion to the top flight.
