Real Sociedad’s Griezmann would be prepared to make a switch away from current club.
There could be some good news for Arsenal in the January transfer window as target Antoine Griezmann is open to a move away from Real Sociedad.
The Gunners failed to land the winger after submitting a £12m offer earlier in the month and since then talks about the deal have gone quiet.
Yet Griezmann could have given the north London side a lifeline after admitting that the 22-year-old could be tempted by a switch away from the Anoeta Stadium.
“I am relaxed about my future at the moment,” the Frenchman was quoted by the Metro.
“I have not had talks other clubs yet. This is something to look at.
“I want to play for a leading European team and I hope this can help me get a place in the France team.”
Griezmann has been impressive in La Liga this term as Sociedad have built on their good form from last season and in 29 appearances in all competitions has 14 goals.
The starlet generally operates on the left wing, but has the ability to play on the right and also as an out and out striker and this versatility is a great asset.
Both AS Monaco and Real Madrid are also also interested in Griezmann, who is expected to fetch a £24m fee if the France under-21 international were to leave Sociedad.
