Gunners target will not be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this month, says Los Blancos head-coach.
Real Madrid head-coach Carlo Ancelotti has reiterated that Arsenal target Alvaro Morata will not be leaving the club this month.
Morata, 21, has been linked with a move to the Gunners after Theo Walcott was ruled out for six months with a knee injury and the north London club have reportedly seen an opening loan bid rejected by the La Liga giants.
Rumours on twitter claimed Morata’s agent had flown to London on Friday, potentially to discuss terms with Arsenal.
Ancelotti has previously said that no players will be bought or sold by Real this month and the Italian reiterated this stance after Thursday’s 2-0 Cope del Rey win over Osasuna, in which Morata played 10 minutes,
“We have not changed our plan,” Ancelotti said. “Furthermore, Morata has not asked to leave. I am very happy with him.”
